Coil started to provide a premium digital experience for customers by adopting new technologies such as: EV chargers, home battery backup systems, and electrically powered IOT devices. We believe that purchasing and installing these devices should be a simple, efficient, and seamless customer experience. Initially, our team took every sales call, coordinated permitting, acquired business licenses, and still provided premier electrical services to the Bay Area. While we started with predominantly service calls and commercial jobs to understand all facets of the industry, within the past year, we narrowed our focus on renewables to help identify problems and find technological solutions to meet the increasing demand for home EV charging and battery backup supply systems. Coil supported the expanding green energy market, and provided critical infrastructure to Residential and Industrial sites during a very tumultuous year of wildfire seasons, and the ongoing pandemic. Coil focused on the EV market by securing key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partnerships with Tesla, ClipperCreek, Wallbox, and Blink.

As a company, we recognize that the electrical industry has many outdated pain points, especially within customer service. Consequently, the industry has made it difficult to meet the increasing EV market demand. Customers are looking for qualified electrical contractors and there is a limited supply whom understand the technology of all the different EV products out in the market. Despite the pandemic, we continued to grow, Coil is developing a software that will modernize the electrical industry, and we have started to release beta versions for testing. The software gives autonomy to our users (electrical contractors and OEMs) to organize sales leads, provide instant quotations, manage larger enterprise/commercial jobs, and coordinate permits. All of these features have enhanced and made our digital customer experience seamless from start to finish.
