Nicole Chaika - Chief Financial and Operating Officer

Nicole Chaika currently serves as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Cloudticity. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Michigan and then went on to earn her master's degree in general finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of the Business University of Michigan as well. Nicole has an extensive resume and has been a big part of multiple companies' successes. Nicole started her career at Coopers & Lybrand where she was a Senior Associate and managed audit engagements for retail and manufacturing clients. She supervised, coached, and provided performance feedback to teams of 1 to 5 staff associates. As well as audited financial statements and SEC filings; prepared federal and state tax returns. Also, instructed in various professional development and technical training courses during her time at Coopers & Lybrand. Then she moved on to A.T. Kearney, as a Manager and Senior Operations Specialist where she developed a suggested post-merger strategy for a shared services organization. She transformed the category management process for national retailers, including streamlining assortment, assessing the profitability of vendor base, and structuring performance measurements. Nicole prepared a strategic benchmarking analysis for a $40 billion retailer to identify capital and operating planning needs. Before joining Cloudticity, Nicole served as a Financial Analyst for General Motors for over ten years and supported the software team through budget analysis, business case analysis, and accounting issue resolution. In addition, she was responsible for software budget and forecast and performed multiple special studies. At Cloudticity, Nicole’s responsibilities include both financial and operations areas, including finance, accounting, billing and collections, client relations, operations support, customer support, strategic planning, mergers, and reporting. In addition, she has established an accounting system, reports, controls, and procedures.
