Iapetus is a Titan that Innovates, Achieves and Gives Back

As CEO of seven self-funded multimillion-dollar privately held operating companies under Iapetus Holdings, I solve for some of the most urgent needs around energy, safety, and sustainability. I lead more than 400 employees across seven U.S. offices, driving strategy, innovation, and vision for each, while building the foundation for continued success. I bring a problem-solving and entrepreneurial spirit and a diverse lens to traditional businesses. Driven by strong values of transparency, excellence, agility, and respect, my desire is to strengthen businesses, infrastructure, electric reliability, the economy, and future generations of professionals, by delivering outstanding client services, improving the environment, providing valuable employment and growth opportunities, all while giving back to the community and leaving a legacy for the next generation.

I self-funded my first company, Atlas Commodities LLC, in 2006 after leaving a career on Wall Street as a commodities broker with leading energy brokerage firms. Recently made an international firm, Atlas Commodities is a distinguished boutique brokerage trading all energies. Before my career in commodities, I worked as a lawyer at a prestigious firm, White & Case LLP, in New York.

Identifying the opportunity to expand and grow new business ventures, I leveraged my connections to form Atlas Retail Energy, Atlas Field Services, and Gold Coast Utility Specialists, intentionally diversifying the business’ service offerings to service energy sectors in innovative and efficient ways. This year, I launched an emerging-tech UAS (unmanned aerial systems) drone inspections company, Soaring Eagle Technologies, to apply carbon-friendlier technology to infrastructure inspections, as well as Hyperion Safety Environmental Services, to raise the bar on health, safety, and environmental services provided to the energy and utility industries.

I spent several years as a leader in the U.S. Navy, where I was a Petty Officer Third Class for the Presidential Honor Guard and USS Ticonderoga. I hold a University of Maryland B.S., a Fordham University J.D., and a Columbia University and London Business School joint M.B.A.
