Jason Pedone, Chief Technology Officer of Aspida, stands out among business leaders and tech specialists. Known for his own inventive approaches to problem-solving, Jason guides Aspida’s long-term technology vision and has driven measurable user experience improvements.

Jason is responsible for shaping Aspida’s digital future and overseeing the development of its cutting-edge cloud-based platform. Since joining Aspida in 2024, he has expertly led Engineering, Digital Product, Architecture, UX, and Production Support against a backdrop of rapid growth within the business and of rapid evolution of what customer experience means in the insurance industry.

Prior to becoming Aspida’s CTO, Jason served for five years as SVP and Head of Digital and Consumer Channels Engineering Division at Truist Financial. In that time, he led a global engineering organization – 600+ staffers across 40 agile development teams – responsible for the engineering and delivery of digital product portfolios supporting over 10 million customers. His leadership was crucial for Truist’s successful navigation of one of the largest bank mergers in history. Before joining Truist, Jason spent 12 years at BB&T, ultimately rising to SVP, Director of Platform Engineering. A creator at heart, he also holds four patents.
