Chen Zhi is investing in the future of Cambodia

• Neak Oknha Chen Zhi is a naturalized Cambodian entrepreneur who is driving positive change in the Kingdom via his pioneering sustainable business practices and cross-sector business building efforts. In less than a decade, Chen Zhi has established Prince Holding Group, one of the largest and fastest growing conglomerates in Cambodia.

• Chen Zhi is a passionate philanthropist in the areas of healthcare, education and disaster relief. He has impacted the lives of more than 500,000 people through 250+ philanthropic activities via the Prince Charitable Foundation, donating over US$14 million. He is passionate about contributing to Cambodia’s environmental and societal development and regularly seeks opportunities to make a difference.

• The Group’s latest project – Ream City, a US$16 billion project that will redefine Sihanoukville – is a key example of Chen Zhi’s vision for the future as it follows a master plan that will create a sustainable solution for living for the betterment of Cambodia. The key member company, Canopy Sands Development, that is driving the project will soon issue an environment, social and governance (ESG) report that will guide the organization. Historically, local real estate developers do not issue an ESG report, especially those operating in the private sector.

The project will set a historic precedent in a country where two thirds of Cambodia are under the age of 30 and are therefore vulnerable to climate change and rapid development.
