Anna Svetchnikov, an Executive Director of Longwood Care, is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit mental health organization, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and an award winning author. As a community-focused organization, Longwood Care’s mission is centered around empowerment, advocacy, inclusion, collaboration, and education via accessible child-centered, parent-focused behavioral health services, to build strong families and prosperous communities. Longwood Care provided essential services during the pandemic. With three locations, Longwood Care is able to serve over 900 families a month. In 2020, Longwood Care launched a Family Support centre to assist the community and be connected to resources. In 2016, Longwood Care launched the Positive Parenting Initiative.
