Award-Winning Development Programme with Samsung EBC

In response to increasing complexity, talent competition and the need for sustained leadership capability, Samsung Electronics Europe identified a strategic opportunity to strengthen its leadership pipeline and ensure a consistent supply of “ready now” and “ready later” leaders for future Head of Division and senior leadership roles. Internal research, extensive stakeholder engagement and analysis of leadership data highlighted the importance of enhancing leadership agility, strategic decision-making, cross-functional collaboration and inclusive leadership behaviours to support long-term success.
To address this opportunity, Samsung Electronics Europe designed and launched the European Business Course (EBC), a flagship leadership development programme delivered in partnership with Management Dynamics Global Ltd. The programme brought together high-potential leaders from across functions and geographies, creating a shared development experience aligned to Samsung’s purpose, values and commercial priorities. Built around the pillars of leading self, leading team and leading business, EBC combined evidence-based leadership methodologies, experiential learning and real-world business application to drive sustainable behavioural change.
EBC reflects Samsung Electronics Europe’s belief that investing deliberately in people is critical to building organisational resilience, strengthening succession depth and maintaining competitive advantage. By developing confident, adaptable and strategically minded leaders with strong commercial and relational capability, the programme has become a cornerstone of the organisation’s approach to talent development. It supports a unified “One Samsung” culture, enhances collaboration across divisions and equips leaders with the skills and mindset required to lead effectively at scale in a volatile and fast-changing global environment.
