One Ayala is a mixed-use development in Makati that integrates a major transport terminal with a retail and dining destination. While it benefits from high daily foot traffic due to its transport hub, the mall has often been perceived primarily as a point of transit rather than a lifestyle mall.

The key challenge was to strengthen One Ayala’s positioning as a dining and leisure destination. Although thousands of professionals, students, and commuters pass through the mall daily, many of these visits were functional rather than experiential. The goal was to convert this steady commuter flow into intentional dining and lifestyle engagement, highlighting that One Ayala offers much more than convenience, it offers curated culinary experiences in an accessible, centralized setting.

To address this perception, One Ayala launched strategic initiatives that highlighted its dining offerings as core attractions rather than secondary conveniences. A key project in this repositioning effort was The World on a Plate (August–September 2025), an immersive dining experience held at Level 2, Concourse. The project showcased a curated lineup of international restaurants and introduced a QR-based reservation system to streamline participation. Before your meal begins, you’ll be treated to a 15-minute ASMR-inspired journey that elevated a simple meal into a multi-sensory culinary journey, bringing the dining scene to life.

By consolidating restaurants within a focused area and creating a destination-driven activation, The World on a Plate directly supported the broader objective of strengthening One Ayala’s identity as a lifestyle and dining hub.
