Husband-and-wife team Jai and Ashleigh Oliver have transformed a struggling AV business from a $14,800 loss in FY23 into a $5.6million revenue powerhouse in FY25.
Infinite AV Solutions specialises in the supply, installation and servicing of advanced display technologies, including digital signage displays, projectors, and audiovisual solutions. And even taxi systems! Their new taxi system at St Gabriel's school now enables students to get out of the school in 15 minutes, compared to the previous 40 minutes. And that’s what tech is about to Jai and Ashleigh: the client benefits, not the product itself.
History
In 2019, Jai started the business hand-delivering flyers to homes, targeting small residential AV solutions. After winning their first business contract in 2020, they pivoted to serve the business market.
Jai brought on his first employee, his wife Ashleigh, in 2022, and the company has now delivered over 2,500 successful projects to Australian education (50%), government and corporate (50%) clients, including NRMA Insurance, Australian Border Force, Mercedes-Benz and NSW Police (pg2). It has also expanded its van fleet from one to six and increased the largest client invoice from less than $1,000 to $517,000.
In 2024, Infinite AV established two related businesses, iLED Solutions and TechOut, to expand its end-to-end supply chain and enhance its offering to existing and new clients. See Q2 for more information (pg3-4).
Transformational Growth
Jai and Ashleigh have achieved incredible growth (pg5):
FY22: $69,040 revenue; one van; two employees.
FY23:$996,000 revenue and -$14,800 loss.
FY24:$2,700,000 revenue (+171%) and $109,900 profit (+643%).
FY25: $5,543,365 revenue (+107%) and $381,640 profit (+247%); while the industry has grown at 5-7% per annum. Six vehicles; nine employees; four States.
Their independent education market share increased from 2% to 30% (2023-2025).
One client’s first invoice was for $693 for equipment service. They’ve since billed over $1 million in revenue, with regular invoices over $120,000.
Their growth also comes from happy clients who proactively refer, ie Suttons Trucks has referred eight companies, and marketing to independent schools.
