Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin: Solving Hunger Across Eastern Wisconsin

Since 1982, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has been a trusted leader in hunger relief, beginning with a humble donation of 600 pounds of Red Delicious apples. Over four decades later, the organization has grown into Wisconsin’s largest hunger relief nonprofit with a network of nearly 400 food pantries and trusted community-based organizations, operating food banks in Milwaukee and Appleton and distributing more than 38 million pounds of nutritious food annually across 35 counties in Northeastern and Southeastern Wisconsin.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s mission is simple: to solve hunger. At the heart of this mission is the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy, nutrient-dense food, regardless of income level, background, or zip code. That is why Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin works not only to meet immediate food needs but also to address the root causes of hunger through community-led, long-term solutions.
