Procurement Manager of the Year

Kosalee Thameera Galkaduwa is a distinguished professional with over a decade of experience in procurement and supply chain management. She began her career at Omegaline, part of the globally renowned Calzedonia Group, where she advanced to the position of Procurement Manager. In this role, she implemented innovative solutions to optimize procurement processes, reduce material waste, and generate new revenue streams. Her expertise spans various industries, including apparel, signage, and energy, consistently delivering operational efficiency and cost-saving strategies. ​

Kosalee holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA, both earned with top honors, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Business Administration. Her doctoral research focuses on enhancing the economic sustainability of Sri Lanka's SME apparel industries. As a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), she combines advanced technical skills in ERP systems, SAP integration, and data analysis with a commitment to sustainable development. ​

Beyond her professional achievements, Kosalee has contributed to academia by authoring research papers on topics such as tailoring ERP solutions for industry-specific challenges in custom manufacturing and integrating sustainable procurement strategies to support corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. She has also been recognized as a leader and educator, serving as a guest speaker at universities and corporate events. In December 2024, she was honored with the International Outstanding Consultant of the Year Award in Supply Chain Management. ​

Currently, Kosalee serves as Procurement Manager at GiftCash, where she continues to excel in strategic sourcing and category management.
