R&D Strategy Leader

Jeffrey Diwakar is an innovation leader with a wide experience in strategy, investment management, engineering, innovation management, entrepreneurship, and startup mentorship. He has an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is pursuing a doctoral degree in business administration from University of Florida with a focus on innovation decision-making frameworks.
Jeffrey currently oversees internal incubation, partnerships (industry, academic and government) and investments in advanced decarbonization technologies at Cummins' Research and Technology organization. Before his current role, he served as Cummins Research & Technology organization’s strategy leader, shaping Cummins’ investments into advanced powertrain technologies.
