Kunshan Financial Street is located in the core area of Kunshan Xiajia River Science and Technology Corridor, which is an important link of Kunshan city context. The project consists of six high-rise business buildings and one supporting building. Since its operation in 2011, the urban development has entered a new cycle of building stock renewal. The consulting team has put forward proposals on block renewal and operation under the background of the new era, aiming to awaken the vitality from five paths: "commute", "work", "catering", "leisure" and "feeling".

With the development of economic growth and the iteration of industrial changes, the focus of urban construction and management is also constantly expanding. In addition to the macro perspective of comprehensive urban development, the focus on individual needs at the micro level is constantly expanding. The problems encountered by Kunshan Financial Street are the single function, insufficient supporting facilities, and stiff scenes, which make the park gradually lose its viscosity and affect the occupancy rate, and the low occupancy rate will lead to the difficulty of supporting investment, thus entering a vicious circle. When solving such problems, different professionals will provide solutions from their own perspectives, but such problems can not be solved by a single profession. The opinions of multiple professional teams such as organization operation, business, landscape, architecture, planning and marketing are integrated to finally propose solutions.

Operation suggestion: Introduce “diagnostic system”. Firstly, the owners and users' demands are transformed into system language as evaluation factor; select the value factors, determine the weight of each factor; finally, the targeted solution is put forward and guided into operation practice.

Physical space renovation: the unit curtain wall of ground floor is completely removed, and a new commercial unit module is installed following the vertical lines of the original facade. After opening, it can extend out to 2 meters of corridor walkway or 4 meters of outside retail. New accessible landscape design serves as a flexible boundary that connects the blocks. The landscape connection node introduces different themed scenes and provides public spaces for various roadshows and events.
