Cell phone distractions, crashes and deaths have increased exponentially in the past 24 months with the highest number of fatalities reported by the National Transportation Safety Board since 2007. This is also the most Under-Reported cause of crashes and deaths in the transportation sector. Distracted driving is a modern problem that requires an immediate solution. The NOCELL Platform allows the Fleet Manager to enforce their cell phone policies and prove that they are enforcing it, all while keeping the driver safe from their own cell phone habits.
The NOCELL Technologies Platform is a proactive distracted driving technology that focuses on preventing in-vehicle cell phone distractions by only allowing access to the apps that are authorized by a fleet manager, when the vehicle is in motion. Unlike complete screen blockers that prevent all mobile device use, proactive distracted driving technology effectively balances safety and productivity by allowing access to all voice features and the apps, such as navigation, that are needed to do the job and authorized by the fleet manager. This platform provides a tool for fleet managers around the world to enforce their cell phone policies and protect their companies against the cost & dangers of distracted driving. The solution works on all types of smartphones including IOS and Android platforms.

Fleet managers can customize their individual portal to enforce their policies and procedures regarding cell phone usage while the vehicle is in motion. Once the vehicle hits a MPH/KM threshold, the non-authorized apps are physically removed from the phone. When the vehicle stops, a delay time is set so drivers aren't using the phone at stop lights or intersections. The component of the product is a battery-powered tag installed in the vehicle and an app on the driver’s phone. Both the hardware and phone are required for the app to function. If a driver is in a vehicle that is not equipped with the NOCELL tag, the app is inactive.
