RIVA Solutions is an SBA-certified 8(a) SBD that specializes in digital services including: artificial intelligence and machine learning, infrastructure and cloud, and data science. Located just outside of D.C. in northern Virginia, we are a small business that has continued to grow at an unprecedented rate over the last 12 years. Since our founding in 2009, we have staffed government programs with 3,000+ individuals at a 90% retention rate. We currently have 600+ employees in 20+ states supporting 100+ contracts across 14 Federal agencies. Our employee-first management style continues to be key to recruiting and retaining a workforce that exceeds our clients’ expectations.


Unlike many of our 8(a) counterparts who join the 8(a) program upon start-up, RIVA intentionally didn’t enter the nine-year program until we completed eight years of growth. During this time, we established a high-level clearance facility at our headquarters, built up our past performance portfolio with consultants nationwide, developed a mature infrastructure, and established both DCAA-compliant accounting practices, with an $8 million line of credit. This strategic move has enabled RIVA’s explosive growth in recent years and ongoing success.


Our growth trajectory is built upon experience gained during RIVA’s first few years in business. Initially, RIVA focused on Federal digital services for the DoS, DoEd, and HHS, helping agencies adopt social media strategies and migrate to modern technology platforms. Today RIVA is a premiere digital transformation partner for the Federal government transforming enterprise systems, developing cutting edge-products, unique customer experiences, and innovative new solutions for our clients.
