Question 1 : Provide a brief description / background of your nominated organizational, departmental, team, or individual circumstance. (Your response to this question will be used for public display if your entry is awarded.)
Anthem Tax Services (ATS) was founded in 2017 to helps taxpayers get out of trouble with the IRS. From tax returns to debt negotiations, we represents our clients to take on nearly every tax problem, putting our clients back into stress-free place and better financial position. ATS was founded by two partners who worked for a similar tax company, but noticed some questionable practices: unrealistic promises, failure to deliver, exhausted staff, and worst of all, services and ethics being sacrificed to make more money. Disgusted by this, the two founders left that company to start their own tax company that still valued sales, but would equally deliver a premier service with real, life-changing results! ATS was born from this vision. They created the industry's first "money-back guarantee,” offering clients risk-free services, by which ATS refunds anyone who cannot be helped, even if ATS puts hours into fighting for them. This client-first approach completely disrupted the industry, and nine years later, ATS remains one of the top-rated tax resolution companies in the country, attracting new clients and employees alike to join our cause in advocating for taxpayers across the U.S. ATS also strived to create the most opportune and fulfilling workplace for all team members, adding more promotions, incentives, events, and wellness programs than the industry has ever seen. We needed to extend our positive impact internally as well. This has been continuously inspired by our pulse on our clients and team members’ sentiments. We are everlasting recipients of feedback to do everything we can to enhance client and employee experience. In 2025 alone, ATS serviced over 7,000 taxpayers, resolved over $250 Million in tax debt, and increased our staff by 31%, making an incredible impact on our economy, job market, and taxpayer rights!
Question 2 : Outline your nominated organizational, departmental, team, or individual achievements, dated 1-3 years prior, based on your selected categories.
As we’ve grown in numbers and volume, so has our impact, as both servicer and employer. In the last 3 years, for example, our staff size has doubled, from 125 to 250 employees, while our financial impact on clients (measured by dollars resolved) has quadrupled! We’ve devoted a lot of our efforts to responsibly embracing acceleration, by managing necessary personnel numbers, launching more efficient processes, and of course, creating a business model that scales, the right way. We strive for operational and financial efficiency, but never at the cost of employee well-being. We accomplish this by making massive investments in operational advancements, training programs, work culture, and technological resources. This has allowed us to deliver on a larger scale, without hiring excessively, compromising quality of service, or lowering job fulfillment. As another example, during our last few years of rapid growth, our client and employee satisfaction metrics have improved as well. Over the last 3 years, client satisfaction has increased from 91% to 97%, and our average employee experience score has increased from 76% to 84%! This means a lot to us, because rapid growth can often challenge stability and work experience, but we were determined to maintain our health as a team amidst financial success! These service and cultural achievements inspired other organizations to partner with us, including ASTPS, CPA Academy, Energage/Top Workplaces, and the Stevie Awards, who have all recognized Anthem as an industry leader for the last four years. We take great pride and gratitude in these partnerships and treat them as opportunities to further catalyze our mission to help others.

Our efforts to foster an elite workplace and service are driven by client and employee experience. For employee experience, we measure the following 3 pillars of fulfillment: 1. Client Experience: Tax mediation is stressful and can last several months, so the client experience is equally critical to us. We’re constantly creating more ways to minimize client stress and make the experience as smooth as possible, for example, we provide: • Customer Service teams with live specialists, via phone, email, or SMS • Client portals to ensure document security • Appointment booking systems • Flat fees, rather than billable hours, so clients can make unlimited calls, emails, and texts to us, without incurring additional charges • Money-back guarantee • Recurring check-ins • Step-by-step walkthroughs • Interception of all IRS correspondence Although client participation is required, we minimize their involvement, while continuously providing updates and guidance to get out and stay out of tax trouble.
