Anthem Tax Services (ATS) is a fairly young company, founded in 2017, that helps taxpayers get out of trouble with the IRS. From tax returns to debt negotiations, we represents our clients with Power of Attorney, to take on nearly every tax problem, putting our clients back into stress-free place and better financial position. ATS was founded by two partners who worked for a similar tax company, but noticed some questionable practices: unrealistic promises, failure to deliver, and worst of all, sacrificing service and ethics to make more money. Disgusted by these practices, the two founders left that company to start their own tax company that still values sales, but equally delivers a premier service and real, life-changing results! ATS created the industry's first "money-back guarantee,” offering clients risk-free services, by which ATS refunds any client who cannot be helped, even if ATS puts hours into fighting for them. This client-first approach completely disrupted the industry, and eight years later, ATS is one of the top-rated tax resolution companies in the country, attracting new clients and employees alike to join our cause in advocating for taxpayers across the U.S. We’ve also strived to create the most opportune and fulfilling workplace for all team members, adding more promotions, incentives, and events than ever before, so we can extend our positive impact onto our team’s lives as well. In the last year alone, ATS has serviced over 6,000 taxpayers and resolved over $230 Million in tax debt, making an incredible impact on our economy, job market, and taxpayer rights!
Question 2 : Outline your nominated organizational, departmental, team, or individual achievements, dated 1-3 years prior, based on your selected categories.
As our organization has grown over the last few years, so has our impact on both our clients and employees. In 2021, for example, we resolved just under 2,000 tax accounts, equal to roughly $60 Million in tax debt. Though a significant achievement at the time, we have tripled those numbers in less than three years! Naturally, this acceleration required a significantly larger team, more efficient processes, and of course, a business model that scales with the rapid growth. During this period, we opened a new office location and increased our staff from 70 to nearly 200. In just a few years, our start-up became a company. In becoming so, we made massive advancements in operations, work environments, and technological resources, all to ensure we could deliver on the growing demand for our services. Typically, in rapid growth scenarios like this, company culture and stability tend to waiver. Change is daunting, but growth demands it. Cognizant of this tendency, we were determined to sustain our company culture and employee experience while “going corporate,” and we succeeded. Over the last two years, employee satisfaction wasn’t just maintained. It was improved, increasing from 76% to 81% to 84%, each respective year. These service and cultural achievements have caught the attention of several institutions who have asked to partner with us, including ASTPS, CPA Academy, Top Workplaces, and the Stevie Awards, all of whom have recognized Anthem as an industry leader. We take much pride and gratitude in these recognitions and treat them as catalysts for our next phase of growth to further pursue our mission.

Our strategies are primarily driven by the client and employee experience. For employee experiences, we use the following 3 pillars as key measurements: 1. Financial Fulfillment: Are employees paid what they’re worth? Impactful Fulfillment: Employees should lastly take pride in their work and feel their own importance, so we’ve been continuing: • Monthly newsletters covering milestones and future plans • Economic impact announcements • Success story shoutouts • Reimbursement for courses, licenses, and conventions • 90-day & annual reviews; recurring 1-on-1s for tailored development • Outlined plans to achieve next step in career paths • Company-sponsored courses from CPA Academy, UCLA Extension, ASTPS, Jeremy Minor Sales, and Plus Delta Leadership Workshops. Tax mediation is stressful, client experiences are equally critical. We are hired by necessity, not desire, so it’s not an exciting process for clients. Our services also tend to last several months or years, so we minimize client stress and make the experience as smooth as possible, by maintaining: • Customer Service teams with live specialists, via phone, email, or SMS • Client portal development • Appointment booking systems • Flat fees, rather than billable hours, so clients can make unlimited calls, emails, and texts to us, without incurring additional charges • Money-back guarantee • Recurring check-ins • Step-by-step walkthroughs Although client participation is required, we minimize their involvement, while continuously providing them updates and guidance to get out and stay out of trouble with the IRS.
