The firm specializes in assisting both international and domestic artists with their visa and entertainment law requirements. Founded by Elektra B. Yao, Esq., a former artist and creative professional with a deep passion for the arts and the entertainment industry, Yao Law Group is dedicated to supporting artists' success. The firm focuses on providing bespoke legal services tailored to the unique needs of artists, helping them to build their brands and achieve financial success. Question 2 : Outline your nominated organizational, departmental, team, or individual achievements, dated 1-3 years prior, based on your selected categories.
Elektra is a highly active attorney and a member of several prominent organizations, including The American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, and The New York City Bar Association, where she contributes to various committees.
Question 3 : Provide examples of the strategies / plans you have introduced, in order to attain your nominated organizational, departmental, team, or individual achievements. Explain why the highlighted achievements are significant / unique.
The goal has always been to continue providing exceptional customer service. Communication with the clients and providing outstanding responses to all inquiries in a timely matter. 1. Organizational Achievement: A. Plans: We are in the process of automating all of the administrative processes associated with legal drafting. This will allow our team to provide much more a la carte legal services to the international artists that need to come work in the US. This will allow us to focus on the core legal issues and maintain transparency in the legal work we do. B. Significance: This is significant bc the legal industry is still an old fashioned industry that has been resistent to tech and automations, in large part due to wanting to be "safe" when it comes to the rules of ethics that govern our profession. It is important to realize that clients and their needs evolve and law firms NEED to as well, in order to remain competitive and exceed the expecatations of our clients.
